Boom, Belgium: Today, just two days before the gates to Tomorrowland were set to open, there is a major fire on the festival’s main stage on Wednesday afternoon. According to official reports, around 75 percent of the elaborate structure went up in flames.

Emergency services responded quickly. No injuries were reported.

The fire is believed to have started during a pyrotechnics test, possibly caused by a spark catching on flammable materials. The exact cause is still under investigation.

Whether the festival can begin as planned on Friday remains unclear. The organizers have not yet commented on the extent of the damage or possible alternatives.

Tomorrowland is one of the world’s biggest electronic music festival and was expected to welcome more than 400,000 visitors over two weekends this year.
